If you’re like me, you like to read. And the fact that you are here says you do as well.

But sometimes, it’s easier to listen.

Did you know I have the first two books from the Esperance series available in audio? You can go over to Amazon and order them, or get them from Audible.

The reason I’m asking is that I’ve been considering narrating some of my own books. They won’t be as good as the first two, but I know a lot of people who love audio books. While I have no problem with narrating them in general, I can’t do the male voices properly, and I’m afraid it will be off-putting to those listening.

If you want an example of my narration, go over to my podcast of my blogs at Anchor.FM. Several of my posts have been made over into podcasts, and I hope to do a few more.

Drop me a line in the comments, or send me an email and give me your opinion.

Watch for Too Many Talents later this month.

Some people prefer to listen rather than read, and this makes sense in this busy world. I like to read when I’m home, but if I have a long drive, I’ll put in an audio book to help pass the time.

Did you know two of my Esperance books are on Audible? That’s right! Jarerth, First Lord and Viviane, First Lady are both available as audio books!

Not ready for anything that long?

I also do podcasts of my blog here over at Anchor! So if you want to catch the news from this writer’s life, but don’t have the time to sit and read, catch the podcast!

You can find it at Anchor, Spotify, RadioPublic, and several other sites.

So if you don’t have time to read, go ahead. Listen!

Wishing you a wonderful holiday weekend.

And as always,

Don’t Forget…

…to Share the Romance…

Sometimes you want to grab a book and sit down with a cuppa to read.

Other times, you want to listen to someone tell you a story. Or at least I do.

I prefer to listen to audio books in the car. The road noise doesn’t affect them as much as it does the music, and I’m ot quite as distracted if I’m listening to a story I’ve read before. If I miss a paragraph or two, it’s fine. I already know how the plot goes.

But what to listen to…

If you like paranormal romance, a strong male character matched with an equally strong female, and love a good Scottish brogue, check out the first two books from my Esperance Series.

Both are available from Audible! And I love the voices Alistair Cameron uses for the characters, especially Jareth!

So go check them out. I also have a short non-fiction book available from Audible. Titled Cancer and the Warrior’s Way, it is the story of my struggle against breast cancer.

So check out Jareth, First Lord and Viviane, First Lady on Audible.

And to International Coffee Day! Grab a cuppa and sit with me for a few to celebrate!

What’s your favorite coffee? Do you have a favorite brand or a favorite recipe? And do you drink it hot or cold? I know, in summertime people drink the frappacino type drinks, but i still like mine hot and black. Our daughter likes the caramel macchiato, stirred please, with an extra shot.

October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a survivor, I wrote a short book about my experiences with the disease, from diagnosis through recovery. Titled Cancer and the Warrior’s Way, it goes through how my martial arts training helped me get through chemo and all the side effects of it and radiation therapy.

When I originally wrote the book, it was in paperback and in audio. When I released it as an ebook, I changed the author name slightly. So if you’d rather have the paperback or audio books, follow this link.

Have a wonderful month of October. At least our weather has gotten cooler and a little drier. I think my tomatoes are suffering from too much rain, but they’re hanging in there.
