I know I’ve been quiet for a while, but between my husband’s surgery, my surgery, follow up appointments and physical therapy, it has been hectic around here. But I’m back today to say Happy Sunday.

I’m still plugging away at the editing for Old Flame. I’m trying out a program called AutoCrit to see if it can help make the process easier for my editor. I figure if it can catch all those words I repeat ad nauseam at least a little of her work will be done for her.

So far, I’m liking the program. It checks for a lot of things, not just repeated words, and I’ve found quite a few areas I need to work on. All in all I feel it will help me out in this final editing phase.

Not much else happening around here at the moment. I hope to be finished with Old Flame soon and get back to writing on Tiger’s Tempest. I also have to work on the editing for Gregor and Lady Calloway

Looking for my work?

Go over to AllAuthor. You’ll find links to all my books there and links for sample pages to preview!

Take care, enjoy the spring weather, and have a lovely evening.

…bring May flowers.

With any luck, that is. The way the weather has been acting up, I halfway expect another freeze.

As April comes to an end, we’re coming up to Mother’s Day. And I have a question for you.

If you are shopping for eBooks online, what would you like to see as a sale for Mother’s Day?

The first book in each of my series?

Your favorite series? (Tell me which one.)

All my books so you can pick and choose?

I’m sitting down this weekend to get things set up.

Along with this, which is your favorite book of mine? Is it one of the series, or one from Sultonna Nadine?

Have a great weekend, and comment our opinion for me.

And as always,

Don’t Forget…

After some feedback on my book covers, I decided to redo them and see what everyone thought. So here are a couple examples and I would love for you to give me your honest opinion on which version you like the best.

First up is Jareth, First Lord. The first one is the original. The second, the redo.

Left or right?

Next up is Dante’s Angel. Again, the one on the left will be the original.

And our last contestant is The Russian.

So what is your opinion? The original or the redo? And why?

In other matters, the editing is coming along on Old Flame. I’m down through Chapter 23 now, so wish me luck or send me coffee…

Don’t forget the All Author Book Cover Contest!

Good afternoon and happy Friday to everyone out there today! I missed last week due to surgery, but seem to be recovering well enough, even if I am about to go crazy with sitting around.

I had hoped to do some editing while I recovered, but sitting up at the desk wasn’t working well, and neither was the lap top.

But I’m about to begin again on Old Flame. I figure if I can make it through a chapter a day it shouldn’t take long. Of course what it shouldn’t and what it will may be different. You know how that goes, I’m sure.

So if this isn’t too long, or I miss another week, don’t despair. I’ll be back when I’m fully functional again. In the meantime, catch up on the Gambler’s Folly series while you wait for Old Flame. This time we have bear shifters!

Ciao for now everyone!

And as always,

Don’t Forget…

Yes, March has arrived, with rain, wind, and cold temperatures for us. And we’d just gotten used to the warmer springtime temperatures a few days ago. Ah, well, that’s Georgia for you.

How is everyone out there today? And what are you reading? I’ve been indulging in some paranormal cozy mysteries while I continue editing on Old Flame. Next in the Gambler’s Folly series, this book features bear shifter Kort Behrens and a woman he met thirty years ago when they were both at university. Though they’d never dated then, a spark begins as they both travel to Gambler’s Folly. Mother Nature does have a wicked sense of humor…

But for right now, don’t forget the Book Sale over at Smashwords, beginning tomorrow, March 3. It’s their annual Read an EBook Week sale. And yes, all my books will be included. Some will be discounted.

And some will be FREE!

If you haven’t been to Smashwords, go on over. The site is easy to use, and you can choose your preferred format. It’s so easy, even I can do it!

If you’re looking for my books, follow this link: Mellie Miller. This will take you to my publisher page where you can find all the books in the Gambler’s Folly and Esperance series. There is also one book by my alter ego, Sultonna Nadine there as well.

Looking for Sultonna Nadine? Follow this link for my stand alone books.

Looking for something else entirely?

Go to Smashwords Sale Page. You’ll find the link in the announcement below.

Have a wonderful month! Spring is just around the corner.

To my alter-ego, Sultonna Nadine!

If you like a little magic with your romance, go over and check out her book Master of the Fleet.

And if you’d like to give her a little boost, a little bit of love, go over to All Author and vote for her book cover, which has been nominated for the February contest!

So what’s been happening around here? Oh, my…

First, I went down to our daughter’s house to get our two black kittens spayed at her vet. She recommended them to us, and it gave me a chance to get away for a visit. Of course the first time we tried this, the cold weather hit Georgia and they closed the clinic because of the possibility of freezing rain. So one visit turned into two. But both have been spayed now, and all are recuperating nicely at home.

Next, my husband has finally been able to retire, even if his company kind of fumbled and postponed it by a couple weeks. And then he’s had his second shoulder replacement surgery to fix his other shoulder. He is also doing well and recuperating well in his recliner.

Next up is my surgery, to fix the hammer toe issue I have on my left foot. I had the right one done last year and hoped maybe the other foot would be fine. Alas, it was not to be. So here we go again.

In the meantime, I’m doing my final edits for Old Flame, the next book in the Gambler’s Folly series. It’s a second chance romance, with shifters (of course). And a billionaire romance, with a bit of dominance. Of course, he is a bear shifter…

I’ll try to keep you posted on everything going on, but if I take a while to get back to you, at least you have an idea of what’s happening on the home front.

Happy February to everyone. Watch for a Valentine’s Day sale at Smashwords!
