If you do, you’re in luck! I’ve recently chosen to put Old Flame up on Kindle Unlimited. I have so many friends who are enrolled, who have asked if my books were available there, that I thought I’d give it a shot.

If you are a voracious reader, you might do well to check it out. I can sit and read a cozy mystery in an evening. Thrillers take a little longer, especially if they are particularly convoluted and involved–like one of my favorite authors, D. D. Black.

Several of my author friends have their books available on KU as well and seem to have good luck.

So if you use Kindle Unlimited, or if you just like eBooks, go on over to Amazon and check out OLD FLAME. While you’re there, pick up copies of the other books in the series, such as The Russian.

Old Flame–a second chance, Friends To Lovers, paranormal fantasy romance, set on an exotic resort world.

The Russian–Great age difference, Fated Mates, paranormal fantasy romance, once again on Gambler’s Folly, exotic vacation spot of the galaxy. Gambler’s Folly, where every love story is a gamble, and Fate always deals the final hand.

And of course, shifters galore!

Go pick out something to read tonight.

And as always,

Don’t Forget…

There are days when it is great to be a writer.

And then there are those other days…

I do my online posts every day, and every day someone tells me they’ve read my book, they love my book, or they’ve bought my book. And since I released it through Draft2Digital, and they have links to all the various retailers who carry it, I can go to their site and look up my sales records.

What I don’t understand is their records show no sales of my new book Old Flame, even though I’m getting loads of comments and statements that people have read it.

So what am I to think? Are people lying just to make me feel good? Are the folks at Draft2Digital behind on posting sales?

I love writing and I know quite a few people who wait impatiently for me to release something new. And I don’t intend to give up writing. But a little bit of support would be fantastic.

So if you know someone who would love a cross-genre paranormal/fantasy romance, set on a fantasy vacation destination filled with luxury accommodations, and shifters of every sort, send them my way.

Currently, I have two series. My latest release, Old Flame, is from the Gambler’s Folly series. Gambler’s Folly, where every love story is a gamble and Fate always deals the final hand.

Do you like second chance romances? Friends to lovers? Bear shifters?

Give Old Flame a read and tell me what you think.

Enough complaining. Have a wonderful week and happy reading.

And as always,

Don’t Forget…

We’re just past the first week after the release of Old Flame, and so far, all the feedback has been positive. I’m still waiting for the print books to be published, but they’re working on it. When they’re available, I’ll let you know.

Old Flame is part of the Gambler’s Folly series. The series is a cross-genre paranormal/fantasy romance set on a luxurious off-world resort known as Gambler’s Folly. Each new installment follows a new couple blending romance, shifter mythology, suspense and adult themes. And Old Flame is no different.

Kort and Liz are a mature couple and bear shifters. In this friends to lovers–with a bit of second chance–romance you’ll become immersed in the world as well as the budding romance. They met at university and then went their separate ways after graduating. When they reconnect on the way to Gambler’s Folly, sparks are struck that become so much more.

What would you gamble for love?

Come with me to Gambler’s Folly, where every love story is a gamble, and Fate always deals the final hand.

Where can you find Old Flame?

For Amazon, follow this link.

For other choices, including Nook and Apple, follow this one!

In the meantime, have a wonderful week.

Happy reading, and as always,

Yes, Old Flame is finally live in the world! It has been a long journey, but we made it!

Today is Release Day for Book 4 in my Gambler’s Folly series, and it’s still on sale!

But don’t put it off any longer. The sale price of $0.99 ends tonight, so get it while you can.

For now, only the ebook is available, but the print will be along shortly.

So, what is this book about?

If you’ve read any of the books in the series, you’ll remember all my MCs are shifters, of one kind or another. In the case of Old Flame, Kort and Elizabeth are bear shifters. He’s a billionaire, a bit of a dom, and tired of dating women who are only interested in his money. She’s a widow, an energy healer, and doesn’t even want to think about dating, let alone relationships.

But you know how Mother Nature can be, especially where shifters are concerned. She can’t keep from meddling. So as these two are heading to Gambler’s Folly, she makes plans for a surprise.

Join Kort and Liz, as well as most of our other couples, on Gambler’s Folly once again. And let the games begin!

To find your the link to your favorite retailer, just click here and go to Books2Read. For some reason Amazon isn’t showing up yet, but here’s the link!

Happy reading!

And I’m not even sure why.

What debate, you ask?

Print vs. ebook vs. audio books.

I know. Right? Does it make a difference? The purists say only print books are real books. Anything else is a poor copy, at best. And audio books don’t even enter into the discussion there. Others are fine with print or ebooks, but waffle when it comes to audio books.

Now, I know this is going to make one group or the other upset with me, but here’s the deal. I prefer actual physical print books. I love the feel of the paper, the smell of the ink, and the act of turning the pages to discover what waits on the other side.

That being said, I can’t afford to buy all the books I read, if I buy them in print. And when I travel, the weight of books alone would put me over the limit. So ebooks are easier and more economical for me, especially when reading a new author. Do I want to invest $15-$20 on a book I may decide wasn’t worth the $0.99 for the ebook?

Another thing to consider. Before my cataract surgery, I couldn’t read most print. On my e-reader, I could adjust the print size and the brightness, which allowed me to read while I waited for surgery. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to read at all.

What about audio books?

I love to listen to an audio book while I drive. With road noise, I find music difficult hear properly and get annoyed with the whole thing. But an audio book I usually enjoy–traffic noise or not.

And what about people who are blind or are vision impaired? Should we accuse them of “not reading,” because they don;’t pick up the physical book or e-reader? Must they be shunned because they choose to listen to an audio book? What other choice do they have? I suppose they could buy the print book and have a family member or sitter read it to them. But what is the difference between this and an audio book?

In my opinion, and only my opinion, I see no difference between the three. As an author hoping for royalties, whichever version of my book they buy still means a sale. Someone has chosen to read my book. And this makes me happy.

Folks, let’s not be judgmental. We don’t know the reasons a person is choosing a particular format of their reading material. They are still reading and that’s what’s important. It really doesn’t matter.

Just read!

Or listen.

But if you want to check out my books, or the books by my alter ego, Sultonna Nadine, go on over to Amazon or Smashwords and give them a once over. I also have 2 books available at Audible and one over at Apple Books, as Sultonna Nadine.

So, that’s my rant for the day. Don’t be petty. Be grateful for the opportunity to read, however you choose to do it.

And as always,

Don’t Forget…
