Extended Sale!

Yes, due to the extended shelter in place recommendation, Smashwords has extended their AuthorsGiveBack sale until May 31!

That’s right. An extended book sale on ebooks!

All of my books are enrolled in the sale for $1 each, and each week one of them will be free! No, I won’t tell you which one. Go over and check out the sale!

How are you doing with the quarantine? We hardly ever go out, so we’re pretty much business as usual out here in the sticks. Except for the weekly shopping being even more aggravating, we’re doing all right.

It’s springtime and the chickens have started laying again, the perennials are coming back, and it’s time to start planting early crops in the garden–if the weather will co-operate.

Are you getting cabin fever yet? We live out in the country, so I’ve been able to go for walks, most days, and get out into nature. But yesterday and last night we had storms, so that was out.

What have you been doing with your time at home?

I’ve been getting some work done on Whiskey Jug Genie and hope to wrap up the first draft by the end of the week. Wish me luck! That Bubba is a real character.

Sometimes you want to read a story, but you don’t feel like reading. You don’t feel like TV. so what do you do?

Listen to a book from Audible!

I’ve been listening to some books here lately while I drive or when I’m just restless at night and can’t sleep. In the car, it gives me something to listen to besides the sound of the engine and the rough roads around here. At night, the soothing voice helps me relax into the story so I can sleep.

The first two books from my Esperance series are available from Audible, as well as my autobiographical book concerning my bout with breast cancer--Cancer and the Warrior’s Way.

With all the happenings in the world today, is it any wonder some of us are going a little crazy? I know a lot of people are on mandatory lock down, and others are voluntarily staying in.

So what do you do when you’ve already cleaned the house three times, are sick and tired of watching TV, and can’t find anything else online of interest?
