Yes! The End. As in I’ve just finished the first draft of Scotch and Soulmates, which will be Book 5 from Gambler’s Folly. Now the work begins–the editing process.
And that’s the part that drives me crazy…
Still, it can’t be published until I’ve gone over it as well as I can, and then passed it on to my editor. But I’ll leave it alone for a little while, until it isn’t quite as fresh in my mind. That makes it easier to spot inconsistencies and mistakes.
Something else I find helpful is to upload it do my e-reader. I have one which isn’t a Kindle. Being able to see it as I would read a book makes things stand out better for me, for whatever reason.
So, what’s next?
The Russian, Book 3 from Gambler’s Folly, should be out soon. Watch for the cover reveal!
The next round of editing for The Trouble With Talents, Book 4 from Esperance, will be the next book in that series. This book continues Viviane’s story and brings in the new heir for her home clan, Connell, of Belfort.
Then I need to finish writing the ending scenes for Lady Calloway, a novel by Sultonna Nadine. It is a stand alone, set in an alternate timeline of Victorian England.
Looks like I’ll be busy for a while. This doesn’t even include the other stories I’ve begun and had to set aside to finish these. Or the ideas I’ve written down for more stories I haven’t even started yet.
Check back for details on releases and WIP’s.
And please review the books you read. It really helps authors out a lot.
Thanks to everyone and good night!
